Limited Warranty Certificate

Kärcher Municipal North America warrants that any attachments, equipment and Holder brand tractors and Kärcher brand sweepers manufactured or supplied by Kärcher Municipal North America and sold by authorized Kärcher Municipal North America dealers will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year for attachments and of two (2) years or upon reaching 1,500 hours of use after the date of delivery to the first purchaser of a Holder brand tractor Kärcher brand sweeper or  from the dealer, under the following conditions:


Kärcher Municipal North America's obligation and liability under this warranty is to repair or replace, at Kärcher Municipal North America's option, any equipment covered by this warranty which becomes defective, malfunctions or otherwise fails to conform with this warranty under normal use and service during the term of this warranty, at no charge to the purchaser for the parts or labour. Parts for which replacements are made become the property of Kärcher Municipal North America.


In order to obtain warranty service, the equipment together with the original or true copy of the bill of sale or other dated proof of purchase document issued to the first purchaser and describing the equipment together with evidence of completion of all required service must be delivered to an authorized Kärcher Municipal North America dealer in the U.S.A. or Canada at the owners expense. Any evidence of alteration, erasure or forgery of proof of purchase or service documents will be cause to void this warranty.


This warranty does not cover defects, malfunctions, or failures resulting from shipping or transit accidents, abuse, misuse, expendable maintenance or service items, operation contrary to furnished instructions or beyond factory rated loads or capabilities, operation with associated equipment or parts or assemblies of any other manufacturer used as substitutes for genuine Holder or Kärcher parts without prior authorization by Kärcher Municipal North America, repair or service other than by an authorized Holder dealer or service outlet, modification, alteration, improper servicing, accident, tampering or normal wear or tear. Nor is Kärcher Municipal North America responsible for covering travel time to and from job sites. As well as freight, shipping, or transport costs for the replacement of spare parts.


Warranty coverage must be specified to the end-user when purchasing a new, demo, or used unit. It is the dealer’s responsibility to make the end-user aware of any warranty coverage that falls out of the norm. Demo Tractors and Sweepers must have a registration date of when the dealer received the unit. When the dealer sells this unit, the customer will receive the balance of the warranty remaining from Kärcher Municipal North America.


This warranty is expressly in lieu of any other warranties, expressed or implied, including any implied warranties or merchantability or fitness for particular purpose, and of any other obligations or liability for any and all losses and damage resulting from any cause whatsoever, including Kärcher Municipal North America's negligence, alleged damaged or defective goods, whether such defects are discoverable or latent, shall in no event exceed the purchase price of the product. Kärcher Municipal North America shall not be responsible for incidental or consequential damages, including loss of time, inconvenience or loss of use of the equipment that may be applicable to the product. The provisions contained in this written warranty are not intended to limited, modify, take away from, disclaim or exclude any applicable statutory warranty which, by law, may not be limited or excluded.


No person, firm or corporation is authorized to change or extend this warranty or grant any other warranty unless such change is made in writing and signed by an officer of Kärcher Municipal North America.
